The highway automatic toll collection system is one of the most successful applications of RFID technology. At present, the development of expressways in China is very fast. The prerequisite for regional economic development is to have convenient transportation conditions. However, there are some problems in expressway toll collection.
Several racecar drivers and teams are employing and sponsoring a solution to track the performance of tires or other components by monitoring how often each part passes RFID readers. They launched an RFID-based solution to manage the equipment within their cars. The system, provided by Internet of Things (IOT), enables them to track the usage and the replacement of tires or other components during practice and races, for the purpose of regulation compliance and safety.
RFID reader (reader writer) communicates wirelessly with RFID electronic tag through antenna, which can read or write tag identification code and memory data. A typical reader consists of a high-frequency module (transmitter and receiver), a control unit, and a reader antenna. Among them, electronic tags are also called RF tags, transponders and data carriers
